Exclusive-China adds 13 US soybean cargoes in new-crop buying push, sources say

Aug ​3 (Reuters) – ‌China bought at least 13 cargoes, or ‌about ​800,000 ⁠metric tons, of ⁠U.S. soybeans on Friday, stepping up ​purchases to take ⁠advantage of ⁠a decline ​in prices, ​two Asian traders told ‌Reuters said on Monday.

The purchases ⁠take total new-crop U.S. sales to ⁠China ‌to ⁠about 5 ​million ‌tons, the ​traders added.
