July 15 (Reuters) – The Ben & Jerry’s Foundation said on Wednesday it will suspend operations at year-end after Magnum ‌Ice Cream cut its funding and evicted it from its offices, unless it wins a favorable court ‌ruling.

Magnum cut the foundation’s funding in April 2025 before ordering it to vacate its offices by July 15, 2026, the foundation said in a press release.

• Unilever-backed audit in December 2025 found that the foundation had deficiencies in financial controls and governance

• Foundation disputes the findings and says ‌previous audits identified no similar concerns

• Legal challenge over funding and office eviction remains pending in New York federal court, and is expected to extend into next ‌year

• Magnum spun off from Unilever in December with ‌a valuation of about 7.8 billion euros

• Magnum’s handling of Ben & Jerry’s has drawn investor criticism ($1 = 0.8752 euros)
