German inflation confirmed at 2.4% y/y in June

BERLIN, July 10 (Reuters) – German ​inflation ‌eased to 2.4% in ‌June, ​the ⁠federal statistics ⁠office said on Friday, confirming ​preliminary data.

Inflation, ⁠or ⁠the ​gain in ​consumer prices harmonised ‌to compare with ⁠other European Union countries, ⁠had ‌stood ⁠at 2.7% ​year-on-year ‌in ​May.
