French inflation rises 2.0% in June

July 10 (Reuters) – Consumer prices in France ​rose ‌2.0% year-on-year in June on an ‌EU-harmonised ​basis, ⁠statistics office INSEE ⁠said on Friday, confirming a preliminary ​reading published earlier ⁠this ⁠month.

The harmonised ​inflation rate in ​the bloc’s second-biggest ‌economy — adjusted for comparison with ⁠other euro zone countries — slowed ⁠in June, ‌compared ⁠with the ​May ‌reading of ​2.8%.
