Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs to match $1,000 contributions to Trump accounts opened for employees’ children

NEW YORK, July 2 (Reuters) – Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs ​announced on Thursday ‌they are matching $1,000 contributions to Trump accounts opened for their eligible employees’ ‌children.

The ​program is ⁠set to launch ⁠on July 4 and will contemplate children born in the U.S. from ​January 1, 2025, through December 31, ⁠2028.

In the ⁠memo, Morgan Stanley ​said its contribution “reflects our ​belief in the power ‌of long-term saving and financial education”.

Goldman Sachs also announced the ⁠match for its employees on Thursday. “Starting early and staying ⁠invested ‌for the long ⁠term is one ​of ‌the most reliable ​ways ⁠American families build lasting financial security,” said CEO David Solomon in a statement.
