The Toronto Maple Leafs acquired a 2027 fifth-round draft pick from the Ottawa ‌Senators on Friday in exchange for the rights to goaltender Samuel Ersson.

It’s a ‌quick flip for the Leafs, who acquired Ersson on June 16 along with defenseman Emil Andrae and a 2026 third-rounder from the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for goaltender Joseph Woll and defenseman Simon Benoit.
