June 22 (Reuters) – Domino’s Pizza on Monday named Joe Jordan as CEO, succeeding Russell Weiner, effective October 1.
Jordan is currently the pizza chain’s chief operating officer and president, and has held roles across marketing and U.S. and international operations during his 15 years with the company so far.
Weiner is set to retire as CEO and will take over as the company’s executive chairman designate on October 1, after a little over four years as the company’s top boss.
In April, Domino’s forecast softer annual growth both in the U.S. and in international markets as it contends with weaker consumer spending and stiff competition.
