Embraer sees revenue boost from electric aircraft subsidiary

SAO JOSE DOS CAMPOS, Brazil, June 9 (Reuters) – Brazilian planemaker Embraer ​expects electric ‌aircraft subsidiary Eve to contribute $1 billion to $1.5 billion of revenue per year after ‌its ​production ramp-up, ⁠Chief Executive ⁠Francisco Gomes Neto said on Tuesday.

• Estimate would depend on market ​performance in the segment, Gomes Neto told ⁠reporters.

• Eve’s ⁠electric vertical takeoff ​and landing (eVTOL) vehicle is ​currently expected to be ‌certified and enter into service in 2028.

• Embraer forecasts group ⁠revenue at between $8.2 billion and $8.5 billion this year, aims to ⁠achieve ‌double-digit billions ⁠of dollars by ​2030 “or ‌even earlier,” Gomes ​Neto said.

• ⁠Embraer confident it will meet its 2026 full-year guidance.
