Emma Navarro won her first title on clay Saturday by posting a 6-0, 5-7, 6-2 victory over top-seeded Victoria Mboko of Canada at the Internationaux de ‌Strasbourg in France.

Navarro overcame four aces by Mboko and benefited from six double faults by her foe to secure her third career title and first since the ‌Merida Open in Mexico in February 2025.

Navarro won 34 of 46 first-serve points and saved seven of 10 break points to dispatch Mboko in 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Mboko double faulted on a game point in the third set and slipped on a crucial point. She won’t have much time to lament the loss, as she begins play in the French Open on Sunday with a first-round match against Czechia’s Nikola Bartunkova.

No. 6 seed Petra Marcinko of Croatia captured her maiden WTA title after unseeded Anhelina Kalinina retired in the second set of the championship match in Rabat, Morocco.

After Marcinko posted a 6-2 win in the first set of ‌the match in the WTA 250 clay-court tournament, Kalinina was visited by ‌the physician to address the blisters on her right foot.

Marcinko won the first three games of the second set before the Ukrainian opted to stop the match at the 46-minute mark.

Kalinina was also bidding for her maiden WTA Tour title.
