South Korea, Vietnam sign 12 MOUs as Lee urges broader cooperation

SEOUL, April 22 (Reuters) – South Korean President ​Lee Jae ‌Myung called for expanding cooperation with Vietnam ‌beyond ​trade ⁠and investment ⁠to areas including energy security and infrastructure ​during summit talks ⁠in Hanoi ⁠with Vietnam’s ​leader To ​Lam on Wednesday, according ‌to South Korean media.

The two ⁠countries signed 12 memorandums of understanding ⁠covering ‌sectors such ⁠as nuclear ​power, ‌electricity and ​infrastructure, the ⁠reports said.
