German inflation confirmed at 2.8% in March

FRANKFURT, April 10 (Reuters) – German inflation ​accelerated ‌to 2.8% in March, according to ‌federal ​statistics ⁠office data ⁠released on Friday, confirming preliminary figures.

In ​February, inflation, ⁠or ⁠the gain ​in consumer ​prices harmonised to ‌compare with other European Union ⁠countries, was reported at 2.0% ⁠year-on-year.

The ‌office ⁠publishes more ​detailed ‌inflation data ​on ⁠its website.
