March 30 (Reuters) – General Motors will increase the production of its ‌heavy-duty trucks, the Wall Street Journal reported on Monday.

The ‌company will run its truck plant in Michigan for six days a week, starting in June, to help boost production, the report said.

GM did not immediately respond to a Reuters ‌request for a comment.

The Flint Assembly plant in Michigan, which opened in 1947, is one of ‌GM’s core truck plants and ‌builds its profitable Silverado and Sierra heavy-duty pickups.
