Feb 9 (Reuters) – Symrise AG said on Monday that investigations against it in U.S. antitrust proceedings by the Department of Justice have been dropped.
The German fragrances and flavours maker said no unlawful anti-competitive conduct on the part of Symrise had been established.
Symrise as well as peers Givaudan, Firmenich – which has merged with DSM – and International Flavors & Fragances came under scrutiny from competition regulators in 2023 on suspicion of anti-competitive agreements.
Last October, IFF agreed to pay $26 million to resolve parts the case.
