Former Bank of China Vice President Lin Jingzhen expelled from Communist Party, Xinhua says

BEIJING, Feb 6 (Reuters) – Former Bank ‍of China Vice President Lin Jingzhen ‌has been ‌expelled from the Communist Party for serious violation ​of discipline ‍and ​law, state ​media Xinhua ‍reported on Friday.

The charge is widely regarded ‍as a euphemism for corruption.

Lin ‍retired from ‍his ​Bank ​of ⁠China position ‌in 2025.
