Patriots rule out sacks leader Harold Landry III vs. Broncos

New England Patriots linebacker Harold Landry III has been ‍ruled out for Sunday’s AFC Championship game against the host Denver Broncos, head coach Mike ‌Vrabel announced ‌Friday

Landry has missed consecutive practice sessions this week as he nurses a knee injury.

He ​sat out the Patriots’ last two ‍regular-season games ​before seeing limited ​time in each of ‍the team’s two playoff games.

Landry, 29, had a team-leading 8 1/2 sacks to go ‍along with 49 tackles and a forced fumble in ‍15 ‍games (14 starts) ​this season.

Vrabel also ​said ⁠wide receiver Mack ‌Hollins (abdomen), cornerback Carlton Davis III (concussion protocol) and linebacker Marte Mapu (hip) will be questionable on Sunday.
