Trump’s plane turns around due to ‘minor electrical issue,’ White House says

WASHINGTON, Jan 20 (Reuters) – President Donald Trump was ‍returning to Joint Base Andrews in Maryland to change ‌aircraft after ‌crew on his Air Force One identified “a minor electrical issue” ​on the aircraft shortly ‍after ​taking off to ​fly to the ‍World Economic Forum in Switzerland, the White House said ‍Tuesday evening.

The trip will continue on a ‍new ‍aircraft, White ​House Press ​Secretary ⁠Karoline Leavitt ‌said.
