Walmart’s international chief Kathryn McLay to step down

Jan 15 (Reuters) – Walmart on Thursday said Kathryn ‍McLay, president and CEO of Walmart International, will leave the company ‌on January ‌31 after about two years in the role.

McLay, who joined the ​retailer in 2015, previously ‍led Sam’s ​Club, where ​the warehouse chain ‍delivered 12 straight quarters of double‑digit sales growth.

She previously held senior ‍roles in Walmart’s U.S. strategy, supply chain ‍and ‍led Neighborhood ​Market business.

The ​company ⁠said McLay’s successor ‌will be named shortly.
