Braves re-sign RHP Tyler Kinley

The Atlanta Braves re-signed right-hander Tyler Kinley to a one-year deal.

Kinley ‍is set to earn $3 million this season; the Braves will hold a $5.5 million club option for 2027 with a $1.25 ‌million buyout.

The 34-year-old ‌has eight years of MLB experience, logging 342 games with a 4.75 ERA. In 2018, he ​played for both the Minnesota Twins and Miami ‍Marlins during ​his rookie campaign. He ​joined the Colorado Rockies in ‍2020 and went on to appear in 253 games for the organization.

Last season, the right-hander had a ‍5.66 ERA and 1.448 WHIP in 49 games for the Rockies. ‍He ‍was traded to ​the Braves in late ​July.

The ⁠veteran immediately benefited ‌from playing outside of Coors Field. In Atlanta, he had a 0.72 ERA and 0.680 WHIP in 24 games.
