Dec 19 (Reuters) – Federal Reserve ‍Bank of New York President John Williams said Friday that he ‌did not ‌see any imminent need to follow last week’s interest rate cut with another easing.

In a CNBC ‍interview, the Fed official said he did ‍not have a “sense of urgency” to lower rates, saying “I think the ‍cuts we’ve made have positioned us really ‍well” ‍to help get inflation down while helping to ‌support a cooling job market.
