Report: Jets TE Jeremy Ruckert agrees to 2-year, $10M extension

New York Jets tight end Jeremy Ruckert agreed to ‍a two-year, $10 million extension, ESPN reported Wednesday.

The deal can be worth a maximum of $5.5 ‌million per year ‌with incentives, per the report.

Ruckert, a third-round draft pick in 2022, is currently ​playing in the final season ‍of his ​rookie contract.

Ruckert, 25, ​has recorded 20 catches ‍for 163 yards and one touchdown this season, all career highs.

A reliable blocker and ‍contributor on special teams, he has 55 career ‍receptions ‍for 427 yards ​and one TD ​in ⁠55 games (27 starts).

The ‌Jets (3-11) signed starting center Josh Myers to a two-year, $11 million extension earlier this month.
