Investor Ray Dalio to help fund ‘Trump accounts’ for some children

WASHINGTON, Dec 17 (Reuters) – Billionaire investor Ray Dalio ‍will help fund the Trump administration’s investment accounts for certain ‌children in ‌Connecticut as part of an effort to secure donors for every ​U.S. state, Treasury ‍Secretary Scott ​Bessent said ​on Wednesday.

Twenty other ‍U.S. states are considering adding funds to the so-called Trump ‍accounts, Bessent said at an event to ‍tout ‍the investment ​accounts for ​children ⁠born between 2025 ‌and 2028.
