PARIS (Reuters) -Automaker Stellantis is seeking a five-year extension to tighter European rules on CO2 emissions for vans, said Jean-Philippe Imparato, responsible for Enlarged Europe, on Wednesday.

Imparato also reiterated that Stellantis is backing proposals to create a new category of smaller-sized cars in Europe that would be priced at less than 15,000 euros ($17,655).
