PARIS (Reuters) -Highlights of the eighth day at the French Open on Sunday (times GMT):

Last year’s runner-up, Italian Jasmine Paolini seeded fourth, takes on Ukrainian 13th seed Elina Svitolina in the women’s fourth round on Court Philippe-Chatrier.

Women’s top seed Aryna Sabalenka and men’s defending champion Carlos Alcaraz are both facing American opponents.

Four-times champion Iga Swiatek will take on Elena Rybakina later on Philippe-Chatrier.
