Thai cabinet approves $4.7 billion funding to counter U.S. tariff impact

BANGKOK (Reuters) -Thailand’s cabinet on Tuesday approved funding of 157 billion baht ($4.7 billion) for measures to counter the impact of U.S. tariffs on the economy, a government spokesperson said.

On Monday, the finance minister said the next phases of a cash handout scheme would be delayed and the remaining budget of 157 billion baht would be used elsewhere.
