TOKYO (Reuters) -Nissan CEO Ivan Espinosa said on Thursday he expects Japanese trade negotiators to move more quickly in the country’s trade negotiations with the United States, adding he hoped to get clarity on trading rules for the Japanese automaker.
Asked at an automotive summit hosted by the Financial Times if he thought the Japanese trade negotiators had moved fast enough to secure lower tariffs in their trade talks, Espinosa said: “I would expect then that they move faster, to be very honest. We do need to get clarity as soon as possible.”
