India, UK conclude talks over free trade pact, PM Modi says

NEW DELHI (Reuters) -India and the United Kingdom have successfully concluded a free trade agreement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday, clinching a long-coveted deal between the world’s fifth and sixth largest economies.

The two nations have also agreed on a pact on social security, Modi said, adding the agreements will deepen partnership and investments, while boosting job creation.
