Brazil regulator authorizes Starlink to add 7,500 satellites to its local operation

SAO PAULO (Reuters) – Brazil’s telecommunications regulator Anatel authorized Elon Musk’s Starlink to add 7,500 new satellites to operate in the Latin American nation, the watchdog said in a statement on Tuesday.
Starlink currently is allowed by Anatel to operate 4,408 satellites, according to the statement.
