(Reuters) – Russian drones attacked Ukraine’s Black Sea port of Odesa on Thursday, knocking out a heating supply boiler plant and damaging a pipeline, the city’s mayor said.

“The enemy attack has damaged the main pipeline for heating supplies,” the mayor, Gennadiy Trukhanov, wrote on the Telegram messaging app. “One of the city’s boiler plants has been forced to shut down.”

Trukhanov reported the attack was still under way more than 30 minutes after an air raid alert was issued.
