WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Marcia Fudge is departing, President Joe Biden said in a statement on Monday, adding that Deputy Secretary Adrianne Todman will serve as acting chief.

Biden, in a statement released by the White House, did not cite a reason for her departure but thanked her for her three years in the administration as it sought to help lower housing costs and boost supply.
