Microsoft’s Xbox to launch four titles on other platforms

(Reuters) -Microsoft’s Xbox will bring four of its games to other platforms, Gaming CEO Phil Spencer said on an online podcast on Thursday.

Spencer did not share the details on the titles, but the games have been available to Xbox players for at least a year.

The move comes almost a month after Microsoft said it would lay off 1,900 employees at Activision Blizzard and Xbox, a cut that represents about 8% of the overall Microsoft Gaming division.

The first Activision Blizzard game after Microsoft’s acquisition of the video game maker, “Diablo IV”, will come to Xbox’s game pass – a subscription service to access a bevy of cloud-based titles – from Mar. 28, according to an Xbox blog.
